About Our Founder
Nekita brings over 20 years of experience in fundraising and nonprofit growth. From 2015 to 2024, she served as Senior VP and Chief Development Officer at the YMCA of Florida’s First Coast, where she helped raise $30 million in under three years and established the organization’s first endowment.
Before that, she led record-breaking campaigns at the University of Delaware and the University of Florida, collectively raising over $50 million. Known for her strategic vision, Nekita was named to Jacksonville’s 40 Under 40 and has advised nonprofit leaders nationwide through her consulting work with YMCA of the USA.
Beyond her professional life, she’s a mentor, community coach, and proud mom of four. Nekita holds a BA in English from East Carolina University and is a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy. Her mission is to build stronger communities through innovative, impactful giving.
